We are delighted to share that, following an extensive period of peer review, the ‘Greenprint for a Sustainable, Independent Britain’ is nearing readiness for publication.
Prior to its official launch, we’ve provided an insight into the Greenprint’s content in the forthcoming World Environment Day edition of My Green Pod, which you’ll be able to download by visiting www.mygreenpod.com.
In the article we touch on how the Greenprint will create a model that communities throughout Britain can adopt, adapt and implement for their own good.
We address Britain’s over-reliance on foreign goods and resources, and pinpoint initiatives that need to be adopted to encourage and support greater domestic production.
We touch on the role that Sustainable Anarchy has to play in advancing sustainable projects that comply with both the law and regulations, but which are held back by bureaucracy and red tape.
We also look into how Green Halo communities have the potential to address the current housing shortage, and the role that the Sustain Super-Midden, and eco-working environments have to play in creating a symbiotic solution providing housing, food, jobs and a sustainable future for local communities of tomorrow.
In other exciting news, I’ll be joining Jarvis Smith on the Lean into Clean podcast in June, where we’ll be talking about the Sustain Britain movement, our annual conference, a few of my favourite songs, and how it all came about.
Until next time…
Nick Ash
